Engelbert Lodge -

Engelbert Lodge hostel is situated in the City of Echuca close to hospital facilities and the main shopping area. The Lodge consists of 59 low care beds and two respite beds providing an environment which enables aged residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life.

Engelbert Lodge hostel has been part of the Echuca district since it was established in 1972. Since that time it has grown to provide an accredited residential service for the aged throughout the Shires of Campaspe and Murray, while also gaining a well deserved reputation as a leader in care and living standards for the elderly.

The Lodge’s tranquil, landscaped surrounds welcome prospective residents, into a caring environment.

The Lodge is a 61 bed “ageing in place” facility. Our “ageing in place” option allows our elderly citizens to continue leading dignified and independent lives close to their loved ones. Accommodation consists of single rooms with ensuites bathrooms. Meals are served in a central dining room and in addition to the three meals, morning, afternoon tea and supper are provided. Spacious and homely lounge areas are available for residents use, including for family visits.

Our Registered nurses, personal and caring support staff provide complex nursing care and services. Personal care and services are provided to the level of care required for both high and low care residents.
